Shreedevi Roogi is a top recruiter with over 16 years of experience in talent acquisition. She believes in working with strategy, planning, and a strong business acumen to attract the best talent for the organization. She is the Head of Talent Acquisition for various regions and has worked for brands such as Accenture, Dell, Sabre, EY, and Epicor Software.

Shreedevi is a passionate recruiter who also became an entrepreneur in 2019 with Write Your Destiny (WYD).

a boutique firm that focuses on collaborating in creating an ecosystem for win-win situations for the 3 E's (education, employer, and employee). She also holds the Global HR Director position at Himalayan Space Center, the only Asian company that provides NASA-collaborated curriculum.

She believes that as a recruiter, you should be continuously learning, networking, and looking for opportunities to find the best in the talent pool. She looked at the COVID situation as an opportunity for companies to rethink how they hire and for candidates to find a work-life balance and upskill themselves with an understanding of how to make sure productivity doesn’t fall.

Shreedevi won the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2020 (Hubli Chapter) with Write Your Destiny and had the opportunity to travel to Dubai to pitch in the final round. Though she did not bring home a win, she describes it as an enriching experience that brought a lot of learning and opportunities to network with global businesses. followed by securing women's leader awards and HR excellence awards.

She aspires to be a globally recognized recruitment leader and an entrepreneur who can inspire women to pursue multiple things with a more disciplined approach and be successful at all of them.

Shreedevi Roogi is a mentor on various forums and supports women returning to work. She is also a member of TiE Hubli and received an award for HR excellence for displaying relative recruitment leadership qualities and thinking of a platform for candidate and recruiter rating mechanisms. 

She is also the National President of WICCI-Organizational HR, working with a bunch of like minded women to work in the HR space and contribute in the corporate HR field.

She is about to start an NGO named Space Education with a bunch of like-minded folks to promote women in space by providing free space education for rural girls.

WYD is a global training and recruitment consulting firm that focuses on offering the best services related to the talent needs of clients. WYD is here for both hirers and hirees equally!

With close to 35 clients at local and global levels, all women are on the team to cater to talent stationing and andragogy requirements.

HSC is a unique space education program offered to students aged 8 to 18 years old to learn the true space and place we are in. It is interesting and magical to get our heads and hands into this subject and see the kids enjoy our courses and syllabus. HSC is a true platform into space as a subject and an opportunity as a career option for several out there as we lead into the MARS generation.

HSC bagged the Social Entrepreneur Award in 2021 from TiE Hubli for its service offerings in space education and promotion for women in space.
